A few questions to get the conversations going:
How would you gauge your paper’s commitment to quality journalism?
How are things in advertising?
Is your department adequately staffed? Does your paper have a heavy online footprint?
Is circulation holding steady?
(Clicking on a question will link to blog topic.)

|
Some Lee employees are already Newspaper Guild members—with rights on the job, wages and benefit levels secured in a union contract. Other employees are currently forming organizing committees and getting involved in building a union at certain Lee papers. Whether you are involved in an organizing campaign, a current Guild member or if you are from a paper not yet involved in one of the campaigns, we hope the information on this site will be helpful to you and your coworkers. All employees of Lee are encouraged to visit often to check for updates and post comments or questions on the leewatch blog. |
